Microsoft Launches AI Skills 4 Women: Here’s What You Need to Know and How to Apply
The future of Artificial Intelligence must be inclusive , and that future starts now.
We are excited to announce the launch of AI Skills 4 Women, a free online AI learning initiative funded by Microsoft and delivered through the Founderz platform.
This impactful program is developed in cooperation with the Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy (SMC), alongside partner associations including WeSTEM+, WIDE ANDCO, and IMS Luxembourg – Inspiring More Sustainability.
Why AI Skills 4 Women Matters
Despite AI shaping the modern world, women remain significantly underrepresented in the field:
- Only 12% of AI researchers are women
- Fewer than 22% of AI professionals are women
- Only 24% of AI faculty members are women
These numbers highlight a clear gap , and a powerful opportunity.
If AI systems are to be ethical, unbiased, and reflective of real society, women must be involved in designing, developing, and leading them.

AI Skills 4 Women is a free, non-technical online program designed for:
