The Women in Tech Accelerator Program by Pwani Teknowgalz is back with CodeHack 2025–2026 — a three-month intensive accelerator designed to empower young women in technology.
This program equips participants with technical skills, mentorship, professional portfolios, and access to online work opportunities. For women in Kenya passionate about growing in the digital economy, CodeHack offers a unique chance to accelerate their careers.
Why a Women in Tech Accelerator Matters
Although the digital economy is still growing quickly, women are still underrepresented in technology-related occupations. In order to close this gap, the CodeHack Women in Tech Accelerator Program establishes an inclusive learning environment where women can develop, learn, and make money.CodeHack is intended to serve as a career accelerator, preparing women for local and international digital opportunities, in contrast to brief workshops or general tech bootcamps.

About Pwani Teknowgalz

Pwani Teknowgalz is a women-led, registered community-based organization in Kenya that equips girls and young women from marginalized communities with employable digital and technology skills. Their mission is to empower women economically and increase their participation in the digital economy.
The organization has impacted the lives of over 6,000 young women across Mombasa, Nairobi, Kisumu, Lamu, and Nakuru through its diverse programs.
Pwani Teknowgalz was founded by Aisha Abubakar, Joan Nabusoba, and Ruth Kaveke while they were students at the Technical University of Mombasa. Inspired to close the gender gap they witnessed in their own classrooms, they established the organization to create opportunities for women in technology.
